Anderson-Oler ResidenceChester, Nova Scotia.
This project included a steep but exceptional site with views both up Chester's Back Habour ans well as looking out to Mahone Bay. The key design issues centered around making the most of the view as well as creating a house, garage, and guest suite that were complementary to the unique style and details found in many Chester homes. A comprehensive landscape plan and a waterfront deck and wharf complement the project.
The home has a very high level of woodworking detail, thanks to the Contractor Ross Woodworking, who took a great deal of pride in their work. The owner's high expectations were met and complemented by their complete involvement and direction throughout the process.
